WHAT IS A CSA?

The acronym CSA represents “Community Support Agriculture”. When you become a CSA member - you become part of something bigger. You join a community of people that care about our town and its small businesses. A community where people are aware of where their flowers are grown and harvested. A community where customers become friends. We invite you to experience the freshness that a local flower farm brings.

Here in Ontario we often use “flower subscription” interchangeable with CSA. Last year we had a few help us with a soft launch. We are so thankful for them! This year we are inviting 50 flower lovers to join our subscription family.

LOCAL BLOOMS

For this season’s subscription, you can expect lush designer choice bouquets. These sweet-smelling bundles will include staple beauties such as - Peonies, Zinnias, Rudbeckia, Sunflowers, and Cosmos. Sprinkled in will be some unique flowers like - Bells of Ireland, Eucalyptus, and Larkspur. You will also discover some native flowers tucked in that could include - Baptisia and Prairie Smoke.

As we move towards including more NATIVE FLOWERS on our farm, we are looking forward to offering native exclusive bouquets. For now, we are experimenting with what native flowers like to dip their toes in a vase of water and have the cut flower lifespan we aim to have.

As stewards of the land, we aim to build good soil, fertilize responsibly and harvest flowers weekly to ensure the freshest quality.

PROGRAM DETAILS

We are genuinely looking forward to bringing a delightful touch of lush colour and beauty to your table this season. Our vibrant and stunning blooms will be carefully cut and prepared each week starting on May 24, ensuring that you receive only the freshest and most beautiful flowers available. Over the past few years, we have had the pleasure of witnessing flowers continue to bloom beautifully and vibrantly right into early October.

Our FLOWER SUBSCRIPTION CLUBS offer you the wonderful convenience of receiving first cut bouquets designed especially for you once or twice a month from June through September. These fresh, stunning bouquets will be available for you to conveniently pick up directly at our studio on the FOURTH Saturday of each month. Or, if you prefer to have fresh flowers available ALL month long, pick-up will be available on both the SECOND and FOURTH week of each month. If you prefer to have your lovely blooms DELIVERED locally to your doorstep, please feel free to reach out to us for assistance. This convenient service has made for a wonderful and thoughtful gift to many recipients, allowing them to joyfully enjoy fresh blooms brought right to their home throughout the season.

We are excited that you are supporting local artisans by bringing the beauty of the outside in to enhance and beautify your table at home. Should you require an additional bouquet or wish to gift one of your unique bouquets to someone special, a complimentary handmade card will be thoughtfully included with your order, making it even more memorable.
